It is possible in principle to use our website without providing personal data.
There may be different rules for the use of particular services on our website; in this case, they are explained separately below. We only process your personal data (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. Data is considered personal if it can be clearly attributed to a specific natural person. The German Federal Data Protection Act (GDPR) (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG)/ DSGVO and German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG) provide the legal basis for data protection. The following provisions will give you information in this regard on the nature, scope and purpose of the collection, use and processing of personal data by the supplier,

Richard Wöhr GmbH data protection officer:
Herr Klaus Stoll
Datenschutz(at)WoehrGmbH.de

We would advise that web-based data transmission is subject to security risks and that complete protection against third-party access therefore cannot be fully guaranteed.

Rights of the person concerned
Based on the Federal Data Protection Act you have the right to inform you about your personal data according to Art. 15 GDPR, the right of their correction or deletion (Articles 16 and 17 GDPR) or the right to the restriction of processing
(Art. 18 GDPR) free of charge. You also have the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). In addition, you have the right to data portability (Art. GDPR ).

In the case of already expressly granted consent to the processing of the data,
the right to revoke this consent exists without affecting the lawfulness of the processing on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

To do so, please use the contact details provided in the imprint or Datenschutz@WoehrGmbH.de . We would advise that you have the right to the rectification of incorrect data or the erasure of personal data, provided that this right does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of infringements of data protection legislation.
The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the data protection officer of the German federal state in which our company is based.

SSL and TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transfer of confidential content, e.g. requests that you send to us as the website operator, this site uses SSL and TLS encryption. You can identify an encrypted connection from the padlock symbol in your browser bar and the fact that "http://" in the address bar changes to "https://".

If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you send to us cannot be
read by third parties.

Data transmission when entering into a contract
We only share personal data with third parties if we need to do so for the purpose of processing a contract. Your data will not be shared with third parties for them to use for promotional purposes, for example, without explicit consent.

The basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, which allows data to be processed to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract.

Data collection on our website

Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website to recognise repeated use of it by the same users/owners of an Internet connection. Cookies are small text files that your web browser places and saves on your computer. They are used to improve our website and content. They are usually so-called "session cookies", which are deleted at the end of your visit. However, these cookies sometimes contain information that enables you to be recognised automatically. The information obtained in this way is used to improve our content and to give you easier access to our website.

You can prevent the installation of cookies via the corresponding setting in your browser; however, we would advise that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation function
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google") on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are saved on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analysed.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visits, including your IP address, is sent to Google
in the USA and saved there.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function on our website.
In this case, Google shortens and therefore anonymises your IP address beforehand within the Member States of the European Union or other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google uses this information for the purpose of analysing your use of our website, compiling reports on website activities for us and providing other services associated with website use and Internet use. Google also transfers this information to third parties where necessary, insofar as this is required by law or where the third party processes this information on Google's behalf.

According to Google itself, it does not link your IP address to other Google data under any circumstances. You can prevent the installation of cookies via the corresponding setting in your browser; however, we would also advise here that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full.

For the most common browsers, Google also provides the option to opt out, which gives you more control over which data Google collects and processes. If you activate this option, no information on your website visit will be sent to Google Analytics. However, activating it does not prevent information being sent to us or other web analysis services that we use, if applicable. Further information on the opt-out option provided by Google and on the activation of this option can be accessed via the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Use of Google AdWords
We also use the Google marketing tool "Google AdWords" to advertise our website. For this purpose, we use "conversion tracking", an analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google") on our website. If you arrive at our website via a Google advert, a cookie will be saved on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your web browser places and saves on your computer. These so-called "conversion cookies" become ineffective after 30 days and cannot be used to identify you personally. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google are able to recognise that you, as a user, have clicked on our advert placed by Google and been redirected to our website.

The information obtained using "conversion cookies" enables Google to compile visitor statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who have clicked on our advert, as well as which pages on our website each user has then visited. However, neither we nor other "Google AdWords" users obtain any information that enables us to identify users personally.

You can prevent the installation of "conversion cookies" via the corresponding setting in your browser, e.g. via the browser setting that prevents cookies from being saved automatically in general or only blocks cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com" specifically.

In this regard, Google's Privacy Policy can be accessed via the following link:

Server log files
When you access our website, the browser used on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automatic deletion:

  • IP address of the accessing end device,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the file accessed,
  • the website from which the access was made (referrer URL),
  • type of browser used, browser version used and, if applicable, the operating system of your end device as well as the name of your
  • name of your internet service provider.

The aforementioned data is processed by us in order to ensure a smooth connection of the website as well as a comfortable use of our website, to evaluate the system security and stability as well as for further administrative purposes. The Richard Wöhr GmbH does not use the aforementioned data to draw conclusions about your person.

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest results from the purposes for data collection listed above.

Contacting us
You have the option to contact us using a contact form on our website. In this case, the details provided by the user are saved for the purpose of communicating with them. They are only shared with third parties for the purpose of transmission to Wöhr. They are not shared in any other way.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time (see rights of the person concerned).

The data entered by you in the contact form remain with us until you ask us to delete or revoke your consent to the storage. Mandatory statutory provisions - especially retention periods - remain unaffected.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on our website. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data is being entered into our website (e.g. on a contact form) by a person or by an automated program. reCAPTCHA does so by analysing the website visitor's behaviour based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor accesses the website. reCAPTCHA uses various information for the analysis (e.g. IP address, length of the visitor's stay on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is shared with Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Visitors to the website are not informed that an analysis is being performed.

The data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its website against abusive automated data spying and spam.

Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google's Privacy Policy can be accessed via the following links: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

Google Web Fonts
So that fonts are displayed consistently, this website uses so-called Web Fonts, which are provided by Google. When you visit a website, your browser loads the necessary Web Fonts in your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers.
In this way, Google is informed that our website has been visited via your IP address. We use Google Web Fonts in the interest of displaying our online content in a consistent, appealing fashion. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support Web Fonts, your computer will use a standard font.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be accessed via developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's Privacy Policy: www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

The data collected in this way will not be aligned with data that may be collected through other components of our website either.

We use the component CleverReach to send our newsletter. CleverReach is a service from the company CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, D-26180 Rastede, Germany. Newsletter tracking
Our newsletter contains so-called tracking pixels (web bugs) that enable us to see if and when an email was opened and which links in the email the individual user followed.

We save this data so that we can adapt our newsletter to our subscribers' likes and interests as much as possible. Accordingly, the data collected in this way is used to send personalised newsletters to the respective recipient.

We will ask you for consent to this at certain points as follows:

"I agree to my data and my usage behaviour being stored electronically by way of newsletter tracking in order to send me a personalised newsletter. If consent to be sent the newsletter is withdrawn, consent for the aforementioned tracking is also withdrawn."

If consent to be sent the newsletter is withdrawn, consent for the aforementioned tracking is also withdrawn.

Use of social networks
We use links to various social networks (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) on our website. These are merely links to the respective Wöhr accounts on the corresponding networks. We do not use plugins.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; it gives us no indications of users' identities. However, the data may be stored and processed by the providers of the social networks, so a connection with the relevant user profile is possible. We, as the operator, have no influence over the use of the data.

Use of YouTube components with privacy-enhanced mode
We use components (videos) from the company YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company owned by Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When doing so, we use the "privacy-enhanced mode" option provided by YouTube.

If you access a page that contains an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the content is thereby displayed on the website by way of a notification to your browser.

In "privacy-enhanced mode", data - particularly which of our web pages you have visited - is only sent to the YouTube server when you view the video, according to YouTube. If you are signed into YouTube at the same time, this information is assigned to your YouTube account. You can prevent this by signing out of your account before visiting our website.
